Day 1 : Arrive at Colombo
On the day of arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Our Holidays At representative will assist you and later transfer to your hotel in Colombo. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 2 : At Colombo
Today after breakfast proceed to guided sightseeing tour to visit a rural village amid the paddy fields for a tuk-tuk ride and a visit to a traditional village home. Watch the traditional production of cinnamon and oil and the ancient art of rubber tapping. Enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan lunch followed by a panoramic city tour of Colombo, absorbing the city’s unique mix of Portuguese, Dutch, English and Indian influences. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 3 : Colombo - Kandy (130 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Day 4 : At Kandy
Today after breakfast enjoy a full day at leisure to relax and explore the city of Kandy. Late afternoon saunter around the Kandy Lake, the atmosphere alone will intrigue you to spend a few moments here. This evening we visit the Temple of Tooth, with its guardian elephants is a deeply significant Buddhist site that contains a tooth of Buddha collected from his funeral pyre and this draws thousands of pilgrims from across the world. This evening enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural Performance.

Day 5 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya (By Train)
Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later proceed to board the train for Nuwara Eliya. Nestled even deeper into tea plantation country, Nuwara Eliya sits at an elevation of 1800 metres, making it one of the coolest regions in Sri Lanka. The cool clime made it a favourite with the English and the Scots during the colonial-era, and remnants of this past can be seen in the sculpted gardens and manor homes that still decorate the city. You’ll have free time here on arrival, Upon arrival at Nuwara Eliya drive to your hotel for check-in to your hotel and breath in the mountain air.

Day 6 : Nuwara Eliya - Dambulla - Sigiriya (110 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Today after breakfast and check out from hotel later drive to Sigiriya. En route visit the Dambulla cave temples containing the largest area of paintings found in the world and over 150 images of the Buddha. The largest is a colossal figure that spans 14 metres. Upon reaching Sigiriya check-in to your hotel and enjoy your own leisure activities.

Day 7 : Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya
Today after breakfast, later proceed for your journey by private vehicle out to another of the area's ancient landmarks in Polonnaruwa (approximately 1:5 Hrs each way). There are plenty of temples, tombs and stupas to discover, as well as the spectacular Quadrangle. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Sigiriya where you can have an optional ayurvedic massage. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 8 : Sigiriya - Minneriya (40 Kms / 1 Hrs)
Today after breakfast proceed to climb the fifth-century rock citadel. Ascend the steep stairs - 1,200 in total - to reach the summit of the fortress, admiring the colourful frescoes that adorn the side of the rocks along the way. Later move back to enjoy your lunch and check out from hotel. Then continue to Minneriya for an afternoon safari. Spreading over 8,800 hectares, this is a sanctuary for elephants, herds of deer and a variety of birdlife. Evening cookery demonstration at the hotel. Learn how to make a typical Sri Lankan chicken curry and two vegetable dishes.

Day 9 : Minneriya - Passikudah (90 Kms / 2 Hrs)
Today after breakfast and check out from hotel later drive to Passikudah. Upon reaching check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Days 10 : At Passikudah
Today after breakfast free to enjoy the turquoise blue waters of the bay with its wide sandy place under the hot tropical sun to surf, swim or just frolic in the water. Many other activities are available from kite surfing, boogie boarding to surfing and sailing across in a canoe.

Days 11 : Passikudah - Colombo (300 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Today after breakfast and check out from hotel later drive to Colombo. Upon reaching check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out and transfer to Airport to board the flight for your home.
